The Ideal Tennis Serve

The perfect serve. I am an avid tennis player, so I understand that the most important part of your tennis game is your serve. The serve is the backbone of any singles tennis game, and is an important asset in a doubles game. When you serve it is very important to locate your center of gravity and then transfer all your weight to the centripetal force in the racket. Before you hit the ball you have to have a 46 degree spin on the ball. This is known as the ideal serve and this would be about 70-80 mph.

  1. I like the video, but it can make for some tedious tennis matches when so many first serves are not returned. I prefer the women's game or doubles because there are more volleys and rallies--exciting. Smashing first serves are impressive, though.
